ARE ALL RIMS WRAPABLE?
No not all rims can be wrapped in terms of shape. Rims where this is possible often have two colours, the front of which has a polished front. The beauty of this is that it has a good separation. The photos below show a good example of rims that are easy to wrap.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF WHEEL WRAPPING?
- If you have your rims wrapped, it can be done in about 3 hours, they don't need to dry and they can be driven right after wrapping.
- Cheaper. Proportionally, it is slightly cheaper than painting rims. This is because we do not have to dismantle the rims to wrap them.
With spray painting, the rims have to be removed from the car, the tyres pressed down, taped, sanded and then sprayed. So there is a lot more work involved than with wheel wrapping. - You can paint rims in many colours, but not every colour, such as chrome. This is possible with wheel wrapping. Wrapping can also be combined with beautiful prints such as carbon or brushed steel.
- With wheel wrap, you can restore the rims to their original condition by simply removing the wrap from the rims. This can be done without damage and is also very easy to do yourself.
